Biography
Osamu Mukai's first main role was in the 2006 Japanese television drama Nodame Cantabile. He played the cellist Kikuchi Toru, after that he's well known by audiences for his trademark smile.
He also appeared in several dramas then, such as the mysterious butler Shinobu in Mei-chan no Shitsuji and Sho Okura in Atashinchi no Danshi. He also acted in Haruki Kiriu in Futatsu no Spica and Kazuki Nanami in Ninkyo Helper. He currently plays
Seno Kazuma, the love rival of Takano Seiichi, in the second season of Hotaru no Hikari.
