About Hyun Bin

Born Kim Tae-pyung, the actor made his debut in 2003 when he appeared in the sitcom New Nonstop 4. That same year, Hyun Bin also appeared in the drama Bodyguard.

Hyun, along with his older brother, was born and raised in Seoul. He graduated from Chung-Ang University in 2004 where he majored in Theater Studies. Since 2009 he has been enrolled at the same university for a master's degree. He is best known for his lead roles in the dramas My Name is Kim Sam Soon (2005) and Secret Garden (2010).
